This Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake is a rich and decadent dessert that layers three types of chocolate mousse for a truly indulgent experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 8 ounces milk chocolate, chopped
  • 8 ounces white chocolate, chopped
  • 4 large eggs, separated
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat 1 cup of heavy cream over medium heat until just beginning to simmer.
  2. Add semi-sweet chocolate and stir until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. In another bowl, beat egg yolks and sugar until pale and thick. Gradually fold in the cooled chocolate mixture and vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip egg whites until stiff peaks form, then fold into the chocolate mixture.
  5. Divide the mixture into three bowls and repeat the process with milk chocolate and white chocolate.
  6. Layer the mousses in a pre-prepared cake pan, chilling between layers if needed.
  7. Once all layers are complete, chill for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use high-quality chocolate.
  • Add chocolate shavings on top for decoration.
