A delicious and indulgent sushi bake that combines the flavors of turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 sheet nori, cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine sushi rice and water. Cook until rice is tender.
  3. Mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small bowl until dissolved, then stir into the cooked rice.
  4. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble it.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, chicken ham, mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, green onions, and turkey bacon.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly in a baking dish and top with nori strips and sesame seeds.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until heated through and slightly crispy on top.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the sriracha to taste for desired spiciness.
  • Can substitute chicken ham with any preferred cooked meat.
