- 1 ½ cups sushi rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 pound cooked salmon, flaked
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 2 sheets nori, cut into strips
- 2 green onions, chopped
- ¼ cup furikake seasoning
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a pot, combine sushi rice and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix the flaked salmon, mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, and rice vinegar.
- Once the rice is cooked, spread it in a baking dish and top with the salmon mixture.
- Sprinkle with nori strips, green onions, and furikake seasoning.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until heated through.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve with additional sriracha on the side if you like more heat.
- For added flavor, you can use smoked salmon.
