1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons peppermint extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup crushed candy canes
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the peppermint extract.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
Fold in the white chocolate chips and crushed candy canes.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a stronger peppermint flavor, add more peppermint extract to taste.
