A hearty, flavorful stew combining beef and turkey bacon, perfect for any cowboy’s appetite.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, brown the ground beef until fully cooked.
  3. Add diced onion and bell peppers to the pot, cooking until softened.
  4. Stir in tomatoes, beef broth, kidney beans, and spices.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with crumbled turkey bacon.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add jalapeños or hot sauce.
