A delightful casserole featuring sweet potatoes paired with juicy peaches, crunchy pecans, and turkey bacon for a unique twist.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sweet potatoes, mashed
  • 1 cup peaches, diced
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine sweet potatoes, peaches, and milk. Mix well.
  3. Add brown sugar, butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and half of the pecans and turkey bacon. Stir to combine.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Top with remaining pecans and turkey bacon.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of salt.
