- 1 cup strawberries, chopped
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish by greasing it.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water; mix until smooth.
- Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter.
- Pour the remaining cake batter on top, spread evenly.
