  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup coconut flakes
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil until well combined.
  3. Pour half of the batter into a greased baking pan.
  4. Layer the sliced strawberries and coconut flakes over the batter.
  5. Mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth, then dollop it over the strawberries.
  6. Pour the remaining cake batter over everything, spreading it evenly.
  7. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top if using.
