  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut hole pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk; mix until smooth.
  4. Fill each donut hole cup halfway with batter.
  5. In another bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and chopped strawberries.
  6. Place a small dollop of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each batter-filled cup.
  7. Top with more batter to cover the filling.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
  9. Let cool and serve with additional strawberries if desired.

Notes

  • Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for smooth mixing.
  • For a richer flavor, add a dash of lemon juice to the cream cheese mixture.
