A hearty and comforting dish made with turkey bacon, beans, and cheese, perfect for family dinners.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup corn, frozen or canned
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground turkey and turkey bacon until browned.
  2. Transfer the meat to the slow cooker.
  3. Add beans, diced tomatoes, corn, and spices to the slow cooker.
  4. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Prior to serving, sprinkle with shredded cheese and cover until melted.
