  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Place the brisket in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, beef broth, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Pour the mixture over the brisket.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until tender.
  5. Shred the beef with two forks and serve with additional barbecue sauce if desired.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add some cayenne pepper.
