  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces pasta (e.g. penne or fusilli)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp and cook until they turn pink, then deglaze the pan with white wine.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, red pepper flakes, and lemon zest. Mix well and let it simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta with the shrimp mixture, add parmesan cheese and parsley, and stir to combine.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with additional parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can include spinach or sun-dried tomatoes in the mixture.
  • Adjust the red pepper flakes to control the spice level.
