- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 ounces pasta (e.g. penne or fusilli)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook until they turn pink, then deglaze the pan with white wine.
- Stir in heavy cream, red pepper flakes, and lemon zest. Mix well and let it simmer for a few minutes.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the shrimp mixture, add parmesan cheese and parsley, and stir to combine.
