  • 2 pounds potatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh tarragon, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, milk, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a baking dish, then sprinkle half of the cheese and tarragon on top.
  4. Pour half of the cream mixture over the first layer.
  5. Repeat with the remaining potatoes, cheese, tarragon, and cream mixture.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
