- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, pumpkin puree, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla until well combined.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese with the powdered sugar and pumpkin pie spice until smooth.
- Pour half of the cake batter into a greased bundt pan.
- Add the cream cheese mixture on top and then pour the remaining cake batter over it.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before removing from the pan.
