  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup pretzel crumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the chicken by seasoning with salt and pepper.
  3. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and pretzel crumbs.
  4. Dunk each chicken breast in flour, then egg, and finally coat with pretzel crumbs.
  5. Place on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  7. In a small saucepan, combine cheddar cheese and Dijon mustard over low heat until melted.
  8. Serve the chicken with the cheddar-mustard sauce drizzled on top.

  • For extra flavor, add garlic powder to the pretzel crumbs.
