A delicious and easy recipe for pinto bean dip that features a unique twist with turkey bacon.

  • 2 cups pinto beans, cooked
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeño, diced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, mash the cooked pinto beans until smooth.
  2. Add in the turkey bacon, sour cream, cheddar cheese, olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, jalapeño, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and slightly golden on top.
  6. Serve warm with tortilla chips or vegetables.

Notes

  • For a creamier dip, add more sour cream.
  • Feel free to adjust the spice level by adding more or less jalapeño.
