  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 cup pink sanding sugar, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract, mixing until combined.

  6. Roll the dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
