- 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup chicken ham, diced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- In a large pot, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add onion and cook until translucent.
- Add the diced potatoes, chicken broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
- Stir in milk and return to heat until warmed through.
- Add cheddar cheese and stir until melted.
- Serve hot, topped with turkey bacon and green onions.

- For a vegetarian option, omit turkey bacon and chicken ham.
- This soup thickens when cooled; add more milk while reheating if necessary.
