- 2 cups lemon juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Add lemon juice and lemon zest to the mixture.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a smoother texture, re-churn the sorbet after it has been frozen for 30 minutes.
