A refreshing lemon sorbet perfect for hot days.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  3. Add lemon juice and lemon zest to the mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  5. Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, re-churn the sorbet after it has been frozen for 30 minutes.
