Delicious and hearty stuffed cabbage rolls made with a blend of turkey bacon and chicken ham, perfect for a comforting meal.

  • 1 large head of cabbage
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 can (28 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Remove the core from the cabbage and boil the entire head in salted water for 5 minutes or until soft.
  3. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then add onion and garlic until translucent.
  4. In a bowl, mix the cooked turkey, turkey bacon, rice, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  5. Place a portion of the mixture into each cabbage leaf and roll tightly.
  6. Arrange the rolls in a baking dish, seam side down, and cover with tomato sauce and chicken broth.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes to brown.

  • For added flavor, consider adding herbs like thyme or parsley to the meat mixture.
