3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
In another large bowl, cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the vanilla extract and egg, mixing until combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Scoop out tablespoon-sized dough and shape them into hearts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
