Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds flank steak
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to create the marinade.
  2. Place flank steak in a large resealable bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  4. Grill the flank steak for about 6-8 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time based on preferred doneness.
  5. Let the steak rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing against the grain.

Notes

  • Ensure steak is at room temperature before grilling for even cooking.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check for desired doneness.
