Deliciously creamy shells filled with a spinach and ricotta mixture, perfect for a comforting dinner.

Ingredients

  • 12 large jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine chopped spinach, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each pasta shell with the spinach and ricotta mixture.
  5. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange the stuffed shells on top, then pour the remaining sauce over the shells.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can add cooked Italian sausage to the filling.
  • Top with extra mozzarella cheese for a cheesy finish.
