- 12 large jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the jumbo shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine chopped spinach, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each pasta shell with the spinach and ricotta mixture.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange the stuffed shells on top, then pour the remaining sauce over the shells.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, you can add cooked Italian sausage to the filling.
- Top with extra mozzarella cheese for a cheesy finish.
