  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can black beans
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Add chopped onions and garlic, cooking until onions are translucent.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. Chop the cooked turkey bacon and add it back to the pot. Stir well.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add jalapeños.
  • Top with shredded cheese or sour cream if desired.
