  • 2 pounds Swiss steak
  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the Swiss steak on both sides over medium heat.
  2. Transfer the browned steak to the crockpot.
  3. Add onions, beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper on top of the steak.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender.
