A hearty and delicious slow-cooked casserole combining pierogi and kielbasa for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen pierogi
  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. In the crockpot, layer half of the frozen pierogi.
  2. Top with half of the kielbasa, half of the onions, and a layer of cheese.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, and parsley.
  4. Spread half of the soup mixture over the cheese layer.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until heated through and bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chopped bell peppers or seasoned breadcrumbs on top.
  • This dish can be assembled the night before and cooked in the morning.
