Crockpot Chicken Noodle Soup is the ideal comfort food that is easy to prepare and perfect for any day of the week.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breasts
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 cup peas, frozen

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add chicken broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, parsley, and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
  4. Remove chicken, shred it, and return to the soup.
  5. Add egg noodles and peas, and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes.
