  • 1 pound carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Boil the sliced carrots in salt water for about 10 minutes until tender.
  3. Drain the carrots and let them cool slightly.
  4. Place the carrots on a baking sheet and using a fork or a potato masher, gently smash them down.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the smashed carrots and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until crispy.
  7. Serve warm as a snack.
