A comforting and creamy corn chowder made with turkey bacon, perfect for chilly days.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 medium potatoes, diced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crisp. Remove and crumble.
  2. Add the onion and garlic to the pot and sauté until softened.
  3. Add the corn, potatoes, and chicken broth; bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer until the potatoes are tender.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and butter; cook until heated through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, and top with crumbled bacon before serving.
