A delicious creamy corn chowder featuring turkey bacon for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh or frozen corn kernels
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add the onion and garlic; sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the corn and chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, salt, pepper, and cayenne; cook until heated through.
  6. Serve topped with crispy bacon and fresh parsley.
