- 1 pound green beans
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1/2 cup chicken ham, diced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the green beans for 3-4 minutes until bright green.
- Drain the beans and immediately immerse them in ice water to stop the cooking process.
