Delicious crack green beans enhanced with turkey bacon and chicken ham for a savory twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1/2 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the green beans for 3-4 minutes until bright green.
  2. Drain the beans and immediately immerse them in ice water to stop the cooking process.
  3. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop into pieces.
  4. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add the diced chicken ham and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Stir in the blanched green beans, turkey bacon, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  7. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until everything is heated through and well combined.
