  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, then add the milk and melted butter, mixing well.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the diced apples gently.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan.
