  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, almond extract, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  3. Using a small cookie scoop, drop the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  5. While the macaroons cool, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  6. Dunk the bottom of each macaroon in melted chocolate and place back on the parchment paper to set.
  7. Allow the chocolate to harden before serving.
