1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup milk
3 ripe bananas
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups whipped cream
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, and mix until just combined.
Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
While the cake is baking, prepare the pudding mix according to package instructions.
Once the cake is cool, layer the pudding and whipped cream on top.
