  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the flour and cold butter until the mixture looks like breadcrumbs.
  4. Add cold water, one tablespoon at a time, mixing until it forms a dough.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut it into squares.
  6. Place a tablespoon of the apple mixture in the center of each square.
  7. Fold the dough over to create a triangle and press to seal.
  8. Brush the tops with egg wash.
