Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 200°F (93°C).
  2. In a clean mixing bowl, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add granulated sugar while continuing to beat until stiff peaks form.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  5. Using a piping bag, pipe meringue shapes onto parchment paper.
  6. Place the parchment paper in the air fryer basket and cook for 30 minutes.
  7. Turn off the air fryer and let the meringues cool inside for an additional 30 minutes.
